Overview

AppleK Pro is a USB kernel mode driver for Windows. Keys unique to the Mac platform can be used, and provide similar function on the Windows platform. Using AppleK Pro, you can even use a Mac USB keyboard on your Windows machine (ADB keyboards require a ADB/USB converter). Mac user can continue using the Mac keyboard shortcuts they are familiar with. With AppleK Pro, nearly all Mac keyboard shortcuts work on Windows straight out of the box! The equals sign (number keypad), power key and media keys, as well as screen shot, force quit, task switching - all of them work just as you are used to.

FAQ
Is it possible to use a Apple Wireless Keyboard with Bluetooth?	Upcoming version will support the Apple Wireless Keyboard via a DBT-120. The bluetooth adaptor can use only DBT-120.
I pay give me access to all future versions? Or am I just paying for version?	Basically, upgrade free: Function that ties keyboard of Mac, and approximates to basic operation sense of Mac. But, other pay products might be built into the same product(AppleK Pro). In the future, Lancher function will be built in the Number pad.
I can't input from number pad.	Please confirm the numlock LED is shining, pushing the clear key. Especially, the notebook computer starts usually turned off. It is necessary to turn on the numlock.
I can't seem to figure out how to get a registration key from your webpage and the nag message keeps flashing up.	Try to upgrade from an older version of AppleKPro 1.4.2 to a newer version 1.4.5i. The nag message will not be displayed.
Can AppleK Pro be used with VIRTUAL PC?	Because VIRTUAL PC is not designed to recognize the USB keyboard, AppleK Pro doesn't work.
Is it possible to use command key as Windows key?	Unchecking the option 'command turns as Ctrl key'.

Settings

To display the setting dialog, select "Settings..." from the pop-up menu by clicking on the icon in the taskbar tray.

- Basic

[Left] command key turns to Ctrl.
[Right] command key turns to Ctrl.
[Left] Ctrl key turns to Win.
[Right] Ctrl key turns to Win.

The command key is changed to the Ctrl key. If unchecked, command key becomes the Windows key.

"Shut Down Windows" dialog is displayed when the Power key is pushed.

Applicable to Apple USB keyboard and ADB keyboard with Power key.

Enable input of the del key with "command + delete".

"command+delete" changes to the del key. The selected files can be moved to the recycle bin.

Forced termination is executed with "command + option + esc".

The same result as inputting "Ctrl+Alt+Del". The forced termination Dialog is displayed in Win98 and Me. The Windows security Dialog is displayed in Win2000 and XP. Convenient when used with the task manager.

"Application switch" is executed with "command + (shift) + tab".

The same result as inputting "Alt+Tab". When the shift key is pushed, selection is by reverse order.

Enable input of the equal sign of the number keypad.

"=" of the number keypad doesn't exist on Windows keyboards. This function allows input of the Mac's "=" key.

Entire screen is captured with "command + shift + 3"
Window area is captured with "command + shift + 4"
Sound the shutter sounded.
Save to desktop as BMP file.

A screen shot is obtained with "command + shift+3" or "command + shift + 4", as with Macintosh. Saves to the desktop as a BMP file when you check "Save to desktop as BMP file.". When unchecked, the screen image is copied to the clipboard. However, "command+shift+4" does not change the cursor to '+'.

Context menu is displayed by "control + Click".

This option corresponds to the one button mouse of the Mac.

Problems may arise with this function, such as problems with multiple selection, and failure of the control key to deselect. If so uncheck this feature and use "Click and hold mouse button" below instead.

Do not move the mouse, when holding the mouse button down as this may cause loss of selection.

The 1st CD tray is opened/closed by "control + Power".
The 2nd CD tray is opened/closed by "shift + Power".

Enables opening and closing of the CD tray with the Apple USB keyboard, which has no eject key.

help (insert) key turns to no change
help (insert) key turns to del key
help (insert) key turns to F13 key (print screen)
help (insert) key turns to F1 key (Help)

Use with the Apple USB keyboard, which has no del key.

"Shut Down Windows" dialog is displayed with "control + Eject".
Enable the Eject key. (For the second drive, use "shift + Eject")

Third party media keys not supported.

F13 key turns to Print Screen key.
F14 key turns to Scroll Lock key.
F15 key turns to Pause/Break key.
